Subjective description of the painting:
We balance on the line of life, from an early age. Even as children, we are given various burdens on our shoulders, sometimes a light balloon and sometimes a heavy anchor that can hold a child's psyche for years. Let's help them with our knowledge, the knowledge of specialists, the knowledge of friends - the knowledge in the picture symbolized by books that stabilize the line to make it easier to go through it, through life....

About the Artist:
Apprenticed for 4 years with Ted Seth Jacobs, American hyperrealist painter, then with Claude YVEL, French illusionist painter. A member of the PAIR group. Works for galleries and participates in exhibitions in France and abroad.

Andrée Bars:
"My master introduced me to the work of light on form: classical and academic teaching. I am a link in a very old chain of knowledge. My form of expression is based on reality, but I also introduce elements of imagination. Through the precision of my painting, I paradoxically try to create an emotion, a personal universe that I hope is universal."
