Subjective description of the painting:
A work by Andrée Bars showing the mysticism of her work. By depicting a figure, she does not show it for the sake of showing it. She wishes to convey to us that man has power, that man, although he does not enchant like a fairy, can change the world for the better, can with his more or less hidden powers influence how we live.

About the Artist:
Apprenticed for 4 years with Ted Seth Jacobs, American hyperrealist painter, then with Claude YVEL, French illusionist painter. A member of the PAIR group. Works for galleries and participates in exhibitions in France and abroad.

"My master introduced me to the work of light on form: classical and academic teaching. I am a link in a very old chain of knowledge. My form of expression is based on reality, but I also introduce elements of imagination. Through the precision of my painting, I paradoxically try to create an emotion, a personal universe that I hope is universal."
