Abraham Weinbaum (1890-1943). In 1906-14 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Unierzyski, W. Weiss and J. Pankiewicz. He probably also studied in Odesa. From around 1908 he lived and created in Paris, where he participated in the Salon des Independents in 1908 and the Salon des Tuileries in 1928. During World War II, he lived in Marseille. He painted city views and landscapes and was also involved in illustrating books. He died murdered probably in a concentration camp.
