The work framed in a stylish period frame. On the reverse: stamp on the stretcher of the company with painting tools 'ISKRA & KARMAŃSKI' in Kraków, and also the stamp of the Kraków salon of works of art of Kazimierz Wojciechowski, 3 Św. Jana Street.
Sylweriusz Saski (1864-1954) - painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, and - after his return - under Jan Matejko at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The subjects of his works became mainly: folklore of Podhale, Cracow, genre scenes.
