The painting depicts the Mother of God with little Jesus in her arms, holding a cross in her hand. From the side observes the whole scene Saint Joseph. The painting is painted according to the principles of the so-called Bologna school. canvas and painting without damage. The unusual depiction of the subject is emphasized by the oval frame, 19th century. Richly gilded and decorated, it probably replaced the original, more impoverished one. After its replacement, the original oval frame was preserved, as evidenced by the paintings visible near the edges, which were probably covered by the original frame.
The painting measures 15 x 11 cm, the frame 29 x 25.5 cm. The painting and the frame were washed. The back was completed with an additional protective board.
