Painter, stained glass artist, son of Jan Matejko's older brother. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1891-92) under Loeffler, Matejko, Łuszczkiewicz, continued his studies in Munich (from 1892). He practiced mural painting (including collaborating with Jan Matejko on the polychrome in St. Mary's Church in Cracow). From 1906, he headed the department of figural composition at S.G. Zeleński's Stained Glass and Mosaic Works in Cracow. He painted portraits and genre scenes. He exhibited at TPSP in Krakow and Lviv. At an exhibition in Vilnius in 1922, he presented, among other things, the composition "Swietojańskie robaczki".
