Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Matejko from 1877-1883 and at the Academy in Munich with O. Seitz from 1883-1885. He traveled to Italy, Palestine. He was president of TPSP in Cracow for many years. The subjects of his works were genre scenes, religious scenes and portraits of young girls. His some paintings are sometimes characterized by touches of realism. He also worked as an illustrator for "Trilogy" and "Quo vadis" by Sienkiewicz, among others. He used oil and pastel techniques.
