Piotr Nizinski was born in 1858 and died in 1919. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Jan Matejko, Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Florian Cynk and Leopold Loffler. He also took an artistic trip to Italy. In 1982, he returned permanently to Krakow. He exhibited his paintings at expositions of the Cracow and Lviv Society of Friends of Fine Arts. Piotr Nizinski also created easel paintings, in which he usually took up landscape and genre themes, but also religious themes - he painted canvases intended for altars, including those for the Church of the Holy Spirit in Żabno.
