Good condition. Stanislaw Radziejowski , painter and landowner . He began his studies in painting at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under the direction of Jan Matejko. During a break from his Cracow studies, he was in Munich and there - from 1885 - studied at the Academy under Otto Seitz. A friend of Włodzimierz Tetmajer, he was one of the painters associated with the current, the so-called "peasantry", going to Bronowice and painting the village near Krakow. At the beginning of the 1890s he was in Paris, from 1895-1900 he lived in Munich. Since 1942 he permanently lived in Cracow. In addition to genre paintings, the artist also painted portraits, landscapes and religious paintings. An important strand of his work - from the 1880s to the 1930s. - were also paintings with fantasy and fairy-tale motifs, taken from folk tales and Slavic mythology . The artist's paintings are in the collections of numerous Polish museums, including the National Museums in Krakow, Poznan and Warsaw.
