Biography
Nathan Grunsweigh (1883 Kraków - 1956 Paris) - Polish painter of Jewish origin. Born in Krakow, he lived in Boryslaw until the age of 13. Then in Antwerp, where the family was involved in the diamond trade. He arrived in the French capital in 1908 where he joined the Parisian bohemians. He portrayed picturesque landscapes and corners of Paris avoiding big-city boulevards. He participated in numerous Parisian exhibitions in 1921, 1923, 1924, 1926, 1936 and 1937.
