Marian Stroński studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow until 1913, in the studio of Professor Teodor Axentowicz. He then continued his studies at the academy in Vienna in the studio of Prof. Kazimierz Pochwalski. During the interwar period, he had solo exhibitions in Przemyśl, Warsaw, Lvov, Lodz and Katowice. In 1928 he went to Paris, where he began his studies in mural painting and conservation under Parian. After 1936, he moved permanently to Warsaw. At the beginning of World War II, his Warsaw studio is destroyed. After the war ended, he settled permanently in Przemyśl. He painted portraits, genre scenes and landscapes, often with borderland motifs.
