Biography
Marian Nowicki (1904 Kawęczyn - 1939 Gusen) - Polish painter. From 1931 to 1935 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and in the studios of Władysław Jarocki, Józef Mehoffer and Ignacy Pieńkowski. He worked under Wojciech Kossak. He created paintings in which motifs of horses, carriages, wedding processions and battle themes recurred. He died during World War II, in the Gusen concentration camp.
