Kazimierz Pulaski - battle painter, cousin brother of Wojciech Kossak. He studied painting in Munich (1894), and later lived in Berlin for several years, where he shared a studio with Kossak, helping him paint the Berezina panorama. In 1900/1901, already in Warsaw, he also worked on a panorama of the Battle of the Pyramids. In later years, he continued to work with Kossak and often underpainted the backgrounds to his paintings. In his own work, he referred to his famous cousin's works by painting, among others, Hussars, Szasers, Kirassiers, Reconnaissance, Pickets and Skirmishes.
