Kazimierz Plater-Zyberk (1879 Kirup - 1964 Ashbury Park) - Polish landscape painter who went down in popular culture as the co-author of the famous "Sugar solidifies" poster in the 1930s. He had aristocratic roots and the title of count. He was educated in Munich, most likely as a free student in the lectures of Herman Gröber and Rudolf Schramm-Zittau. After settling in Poland, he exhibited works in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery and was also a member of the "Dawn" group of artists in Poznań. "Still Life with Flowers" was painted in a post-impressionist manner, reflecting the characteristics of Plater-Zyberk's style.Intense colors and broad, expressive brushstrokes are evident here, conveying the impression of the movement of flowers under the influence of the wind.
