Biography
In the late 1920s, he began studying painting at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. At that time he was under the strong influence of Tadeusz Pruszkowski. As early as 1932, he participated in the first exhibition of the Free Painters' Lodge grouping. He also exhibited his works in Czeslaw Garlinski's salon and the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He painted mainly landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
