Biography
Jan Klêpinski began studying painting at the private school of Anton Ažbe' and Simon Hollósy in Munich. He sent oil paintings from his travels, mainly landscapes from the Adriatic Sea, marine and genre themes to exhibitions in Poland from 1900. The artist exhibited at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow, at the Aleksander Krywult Salon in Warsaw, at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw and in Munich.
