Painter, draughtsman and graphic artist, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of J. Malczewski and St. Dębicki. He served in the Polish Legions, where, among other things, he made numerous portraits of soldiers. After the war he was sent to Vilnius, there he created a series of urban landscapes. Since 1920 he lived in Cracow. In the 1920s he traveled to France, visited Prague, Lviv, Warsaw and Vilnius. He participated in numerous exhibitions of the Cracow and Lviv TPSP, Warsaw TZSP, and Legion exhibitions. He painted oil paintings, watercolors and pastels, his favorite motifs included landscapes, views of cities, portraits of fellow legionaries, he also painted portraits of well-known personalities of Cracow.
