Artist educated in the interwar period at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. Later he also studied in France. The main subject of his painting became Cracow with its architecture and everyday life, as well as the nature of the Tatra Mountains, which he studied with attention and sightseeing enthusiasm during his painting expeditions. Numerous sketches come from his travels both in Poland (Kazimierz Dolny, the Baltic coast, Pieniny) and the world (France, Italy, Canada)
