Watercolor, ink, paper, 35.5 x 42.5, signed p.d.: Fr. Jaźwiecki. Author's title on the left: "The Germans passed this way...". Bilgoraj 1939-. On the back a sticker of the Museum of Art Industry.

Painter and graphic artist, student of Pautsch and Axentowicz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He served in the Polish Legions. During WW2 he was a prisoner in concentration camps. For a short time he was a member of the Cracow Group. He took up legion themes, painted portraits and landscapes.He published a portfolio of autolithographs "Góra Polska".
