Biography
Initially studied painting in Moscow. In 1920, he moved to Paris. He was a regular at the La Rotonde café. He was friends with artists of the Paris School circle, Moses Kisling, Chaim Soutin or Mikhail Larionov. Both before and after the war, he traveled extensively. He exhibited at numerous expositions in France and abroad. He practiced painting in the spirit of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. He was called a painter of the "joy of life."
