Carl Frederick Schultz (Selchow near Berlin 1796 - Neuruppin 1866) - German painter, studied at the Berlin Academy and in Düsseldorf. Known as an author of genre scenes, taking inspiration from Dutch painting, he favored landscapes, nautical and military scenes. He was particularly known for creating hunting scenes. From 1830 to 1848 he lived in Berlin, where he was appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts there in 1841.
