Konstanty Władysław Sobieski
Polish king born in 1680 in Warsaw. He died in 1726. a Polish prince, the youngest son of King John III Sobieski and Marie Kazimiera d'Arquien. In 1698, as a result of the division of property after his father's death, he received Wilanów, the Kazimierzowski Palace and the żółkiewski estate. During his stay in Rome, his Mother solicited that he obtain a cardinal's hat, but the prince got into an affair and preferred to devote himself to pleasure and amusement.
During the years of the Northern War, Konstantin supported his brother Jacob in his efforts to obtain the Polish crown. In 1704, both brothers were imprisoned by August II. Due to financial problems, he had to sell his estate in Wilanow. He died in Zhovkva due to illness, leaving a large collection of paintings and a rich library.
