Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with Leon Wyczółkowski and Józef Mehoffer in 1906-18. He was a member of ZPAP and TZSP. He exhibited his works in Poland and abroad, including in Moscow, Rome and Odessa. In 1915-19 he was a drawing teacher in Zakopane. His favorite subject of his works were Tatra landscapes, in which the motif of Hala Gąsienicowa and Morskie Oko is often repeated. He also painted portraits, nudes and atmospheric interiors.
