Magazine condition good, edges of cover slightly bent [side slightly smaller than cover], creased top corner of back cover, spine rubbed at bottom [about 1 cm]. Supplement in good condition, slightly creased upper right corner, the crease is only visible from the back, the front shows only a not very clear white line.
The International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Design / Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes lasted from April 28 to October 1925. Polish artists were recognized there. Jan Szczepkowski received the Grand Prix for his Christmas chapel, Zygmunt Kaminski received an award for his designs for new Polish banknotes. Zofia Stryjeńska received as many as four Grand Prix (in the painting, poster, textile and illustration divisions), a special Diplom d'Honneur award for her toy designs and the Knight's Cross of the Legion of Honor. She made the decoration of the Polish pavilion, which consisted of a series of Twelve Months (6 panneuax, 2 months on each), showing farm work characteristic of each month. A color reproduction of an excerpt from one of them (May/June) is included as a supplement to the offered issue of the magazine.
