Publisher's binding designed and made by the eminent bookbinder Franciszek Joachim Radziszewski (1876-1941), an artist-binder whose works are characterized by distinctive ornamentation, and who is today regarded as one of the best Polish bookbinders.
A richly illustrated publication depicting the sights of pre-war Poland. The photos were taken by the best Polish photographers: Jan Bułhak, Henryk Poddębski, Zdzisław Marcinkowski, Jan Jaroszyński. The texts were compiled by Tadeusz Szydłowski, Jan Lankau, Antoni Karczewski, Jerzy Remer, Aleksander Janowski, Juliusz Kłos. The work contains descriptions of natural conditions and monuments of major cities and regions, and nearly 1,500 photos.

Preservation condition: minor rubbing of the binding on the corners, in the first volume a small tear in the spine, otherwise very good condition.
