The book is divided into three parts: "Formerly" - A description of the life of the Silesian craftsman from the earliest times until 1922; "Today". - the totality of craftsmen's life from 1922 to 1932; it includes, among other things, reports of the Chamber of Craftsmen in Katowice and of individual guilds; it also contains a place for raising the merits of those who devote their work and lives to the idea of crafts; "Materjały" - this part contains ordinances, statutes, regulations of individual craft institutions and organizations.
