Wraps slightly scuffed and dusty, small loss to spine glued, small tears to covers, small loss to one plate. Owner's signature. Contains numerous personal lists, including senior officers and commanders, "political criminals" executed during the uprising, clergy deported to Baikal, Polish women in the uprising with biographical data, and a list of battles and skirmishes. Finally, a rare set of 12 plates with images of January insurgents issued by J. Miniewski (1841-1926). He fought as a colonel in the January Uprising in the unit of I. Smiechowski, later under the command of A. Jeziorański and M. Langiewicz; after the fall of the uprising he left for France, from there to North Africa, where, among other things, he worked on the construction of the Suez Canal. Ca. 1871 he returned to Galicia, actively worked for former insurgents; left his memoirs. He was awarded the Order of Virtuti Militari and the Cross of Valor.
