Ferdinand Rogiński - "What are the native Polish thoughts today and what were they formerly ?". Paris, April 29, 1851. printing house: L. Martinet.
Format:22x14cm. Pages:16. cover broch. ed.
Brochure written in the form of a letter To John L...: "... You write to me, my Jan, that in the last Austrian-Prussian quarrel, the peasants of Poznan, called to arms by the Prussian government as landwares, loudly shouted: Long live Poland! So our people foresee the moment getting closer and closer in which Poland is to rise again. One of our writers, who is very attached to the people, says that Polish peasants, who do not read newspapers and usually do not believe those who read them, nevertheless accurately understand European events and predict the future better than today's scholars. This is a very important moral phenomenon, so it deserves conscientious consideration."
