[POSTCARDS]. Two postcards from the series "Scenes from Scouting Life" designed by Wladyslaw Kolomlocki probably in the late 1920s.
Postcards titled: "Great cause of little fear" and "How scouts sail". Black and white reproductions of drawings on the obverse signed with monogram K.W. On the back name of the publishing series, publisher (K.D.H. in Kraków, Bracka 17) and information about the artist (Rys. W. Kołomłocki). Minor corner stains, good condition. Infrequent.
W. Kolomłocki (1892-1939) - naturalist, scouting activist, painter and draughtsman; active Sokol activist, soldier of the Legions, amateur artist. "For promoting scouting, and in later years scouting, in 1932 he was awarded the Cross of Independence" (Wikipedia).
