Issue 1. The Wawel Mystery, and one of Wyspiański's most famous dramas with political overtones. The uncounted pages include the musical part of the drama written by Boleslaw Raczynski. Artwork decorated with plates with reproductions of photographs and fragments of Wawel Cathedral and cathedral tapestries; sharp fold sewn upside down;

Issue 1. Wyspianski's first work, the book edition of which was signaled with afi shs. The drama covers the final episode of the confl ict between
King Boleslaw the Bold and Bishop Stanislaw, ending with the bishop's death. The work was first staged in Krakow in May 1903 on the initiative of Jozef Kotarbinski. The theatrical realization of the drama, for which Wyspiański himself prepared the scenery and costumes, surprised with its
novelty, and was the fullest expression of the author's originality as a theater artist; one f. with corner loss;

Item 11.

Issue 2. The theme of The Curse, for the times in which it was written, is extremely bold; it touches on new but burning issues, peasant superstitions and beliefs, and was drawn from direct observation of life. In fact, Wyspiański used here elements of the conflict between the village community and the parsonage, which actually took place in Gręboszów near Tarnów; stamp and notation no. on p.tit.

Issue 1. Author's reworking of Stanislaw Wyspianski's tragicomedy "The Cid" by Corneille, in which the author departed from the principle of three unities and which triggered the famous pamphlet war between the supporters and opponents of the work (the dispute was settled by the Academy of Cardinal Richelieu). Here Corneille referred to the figure of the historical Spanish hero Don Roderic Diaz de Vivar, who in the 11th century, fighting the Moors, covered himself with glory and earned the nickname Cid (Lord).
