16 plates comprising 105 figures from nature drawn by Michal Stachowicz, a Cracow painter who lived in Kościuszko's time. According to the material collected by Wladyslaw Bartynowski, copied by K. Wawrosz. With the addition of 6 plates drawn according to contemporary sources by Walery Eljasz. A total of 22 tables with detailed explanations. Preceded by: an introduction covering the history of the Polish army from the earliest times until the fall of the Kosciuszko Uprising, - an overview of the movements of the Kosciuszko army, - a list of all the battles and skirmishes that occurred during the uprising, and a list of names of servicemen from 1794.
