Detailed monograph of birds written by Kazimierz hr. Wodzicki, Galician landowner, ornithologist, author of the series of monographs of Polish birds "Zapiski ornitologiczne" and the famous work "Ornithological excursion in the Tatra and Carpathian Mountains". The work is written in a storytelling ("scientifically unscientific") manner, with a great sense of humor, citing many similarities between the lives of birds and humans.
