Wladyslaw Szczepanski was a Polish clergyman, archaeologist and biblical scholar. He was the author of the first Catholic translation of the Gospels and Acts of the Apostles from the original languages into Polish. A Jesuit, he published several publications, including "The Oldest Civilizations of Classical Egypt in the East" in 1922.
