A picture from the life of nuns in medieval Poland, collected by the author from old monastery chronicles and archival documents. Numerous curiosities, anecdotes, pictures of customs and details from the daily life of the monasteries. The book contains one of the more famous graphic series by Wladyslaw Skoczylas.
Preservation condition: very good, minor stains on rear pastedown.
