The portfolio includes ex-librises for Leopold Wellisz, the Society of Book Lovers in Lublin, the Library of Lublin University, among others.
As one can read in the foreword by Jan Zuk: "Wiszniewski is undoubtedly a born xylographer [...] He wields the stylus perfectly. [...] Undoubtedly, this evolution of Wiszniewski's artistry is not finished and heralds further ascents towards the heights of artistic perfection."
Kazimierz Wiszniewski (1894-1960) - painter and graphic artist. He studied with Ignacy Pienkowski, Konrad Krzyzanowski and Wladyslaw Skoczylas (Warsaw School of Fine Arts), among others. The work of W. Skoczylas had the greatest influence on him and directed him to choose woodcut as the main technique of his works.
