The first Polish graphic handbook written by Hieronim Wilder (1876-1941), art historian, bibliophile and prominent Polish antiquarian of the early 20th century.
It contains 37 plates, each presenting a different graphic technique (including: woodcut, Japanese woodcut, copperplate, intaglio, etching, etching, aquatint, mezzotint, lithography), preceded by an extensive description of the technique, an index and a description of the engravings included. The work also includes a bibliography and a Polish-French-German-English glossary.
