S. Wasylewski (1885-1953) - a resident and great admirer of Lviv, author of many books on Polish customs and literary culture of the Enlightenment and Romanticism. He wrote with charm, erudition and humor. This volume discusses the loves of Mickiewicz, Malczewski, Slowacki, Klaudyna Potocka, Ewelina Hanska and Delfina of Komar Potocka, among others.
