Good condition. Richard Ernst Wagner (1883-1945), Silesian Lutheran pastor of German nationality. He worked for 31 years as pastor of the parish in Bielsko, to which he arrived in 1914. He was one of the most important regional historians of the Bielsko area. His journalistic and historical activities were of great importance for the history of the city. In place of the all-Austrian Evangelische Kirchenzeitung, he published the Neue evangelische Kirchenzeitung, addressed to local congregants, with a historical supplement, Unsere Heimat, between 1926 and 1940. The culmination of his work was the 1938 publication of a collection of historical sources, Das Buch der Bielitz-Bialaer Chronika (The Book of the Bielitz-Bialaer Chronicle). Rare.
