Among the founders of the Society of United Landowners are listed: a) Maria Rodziewiczówna, one of the most widely read writers of the interwar period, who at the age of 18 began to run the estate of her deceased father - in the village of Hruszowa (now Belarus); b) Irena Kosmowska, social activist, deputy to the Sejm of the first and second terms on behalf of the PSL "Wyzwolenie"; c) Jadwiga Warnkowna, tireless social activist and writer.
