[TERAKOWSKI Janusz, "calendars"]. Handwritten "calendars" by Janusz Terakowski for: 2nd half of 1991, 1st half of 1993, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001.
"Calendars" in the form of loose sheets (form 17x17 to 17.5x21 cm) clipped into eight office binders. Individual cards were decorated by the author with original or copied own drawings, photos, collages. A small part of the illustrations were made by friends of the house and family members. An essential element of the "calendars" are "social chronicles" containing accounts of daily events, the author's artistic activities and his thoughts on various topics. One can also find here ideas for songs "for Zbysie" Wodecki. Famous people appear in the daily notes: Wieslaw Dymny (successive anniversaries of death), Leszek Dlugosz, Maciej Szumowski, Zbigniew Wodecki, Tadeusz Kwinta. Between the pages of the "calendar" are clipped postcards from friends. The texts and drawings are accompanied by numerous aphorisms and "golden thoughts" by Terakowski, such as: "And you'll be an Indian when the scalp heals a speck!", "Go grain to grain until the measure runs!", "Head in the clouds, in the pants nonsense...", "First you grow, then you grow. And that's all", "Peace to people of goodwill, and to women - kitchen!", "There was to be a cart or a carriage, and there is fertilizer"; "Such a miner - he does not go to the mountains at all, on the contrary!", "If I bloomed so much as I am getting fat - these flowers would be nobody's...". Good condition.
