[SZYMBORSKA Wisława (1923-2012)]. Die-cut with handwritten letter from Wislawa Szymborska to Andrzej Szczepka, dated. 8 XI 1974 in Cracow.
Sheet of stiff paper form. 14.6x10.4 cm. The poet informs that while watching an interview with the addressee on television, she realized that she had not yet repaid him for the "beautiful card". Not having the business cards he was looking for, she sends (not preserved here) their "relatives" - tickets denoting seats at the table. He expresses hope for a meeting. On the back of the die-cut: a woman's hand holding a clipping from the French newspaper "Causerie litteraire". Original envelope preserved. Very good condition.
W. Szymborska (1923-2012) - poet, essayist, critic, translator, columnist, winner of the Nobel Prize in literature in 1996, founder of the Association of Polish Writers in 1989.
