Szulc (1797-1860) - a historian and teacher from Minsk, a pupil of J. Sniadecki, active in Vilna, Lublin and Warsaw. Here the author defends the thesis "about the Slavic origin of Prussia, rather tendentiously interpreting the sources and etymology of the nomenclature" (PSB). The text was previously printed in "Bibliot. Warszawska". Infrequent.
