[ART ]. [1920s and 1930s]. A group of drawings, designs, patterns of silver utilitarian and decorative objects made in the jewelry and goldsmith's workshop of Wiktor Czaplicki in Cracow.
Designs on carbon paper, paper and millimeter paper of various formats. Drawn in pencil, pen and colored (2 pcs.). On most in upper right corners Arabic numerals. On some given scale and stamp: "Wiktor Czaplicki Jubiler Kraków Sukiennice 6", "Judith Stern Architektin", and also signed in pencil: "Arch. Stern Krakow 25 VI 1939", "Arch. Stern Kraków Poselska 16". The ensemble includes: Toilet suits (1 piece), Cups (7 pieces), Pocket cigarette cases (16 pieces), Jugs (5 pieces), Coffee, tea utensils - sets and single pieces (54 pieces), Candlesticks (17 pieces), Beverage utensils - cups, glass plates (11 pieces.), Boxes, cases (15 pieces), Cabinet utensils - cases, cigarette cases, ashtrays, cigarette sets, stationery sets (44 pieces), Platters, jardinieres (33 pieces), Trays (16 pieces). Traces of folds, on some clear folds especially on margins, good condition overall.
W. Czaplicki - Cracow jeweler and goldsmith. Owner of a store in Cracow, Sukiennice 6. Jewelry workshop and store operated at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The company was liquidated after World War II. The drawings are from the family collection.
