Rubbing and staining of the binding, bibl. stamps, contents with illustrations in very good condition. On the facing page stamp "W. Gigoń, Introligator Krakow". The work is decorated with many nice vignettes and sketches by painter G. B. Conti. Wladyslaw Szczepanski (1877-1927) - Polish clergyman, biblical scholar, archaeologist and orientalist (palestinologist), professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and Warsaw University. Fra Angelico (1387-1455) - religious painter of the early Renaissance, Dominican, blessed of the Catholic Church; took up only religious subjects.
