A boarding house novel with illustrations. Kraków 1934. general bookseller. 8, pp. 390, illustrations on separate plates, publisher's cloth cover, gilt on spine.
Good condition, some rubbing and soiling of the binding, own stamp. Irena Szczepanska (1908-1964) - Polish writer, Pre-war author of books, mainly for adolescent girls. After World War II, she was an employee of the Cracow radio station of the Polish Radio, and hosted the program "Gromada świetlicowa" (as "Aunt Irka").
