Tarot of the Magi is an extraordinary book. Written by John W. Suliga - an expert in Kabbalah, magic and tarot - it initiates readers into the magical symbolism of the deck of cards he has developed and is an excellent compendium of knowledge about Kabbalah, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its relationship to tarot.
Its value, however, lies primarily in the fact that it discusses, in an in-depth and insightful yet accessible manner, those issues of Kabbalistic magic, theosophy and mysticism that other books on Tarot do not hint at. For this reason alone, the Tarot of the Magi should be counted among the fundamental studies, without the knowledge of which it is impossible to seriously deal with tarot.
It should also find its place in the library of anyone fascinated by Tarot cards, who would like to see in them something more than bizarre images, and in Tarot itself a bizarre book of esoteric mysteries of mankind, the first secret circle of which the Tarot of Magi reveals to everyone.
