Exceptional and very valuable in terms of content Varsavianum
Contains a number of corrected plans of the city of Warsaw from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Some of the plates show the gradual development of the city's organism. Graphic studies of a number of survey photographs of certain districts of Warsaw, individual properties and even individual edifices. The basis for the development of this material are plans, which are original measurement works, made at considerable intervals - in the years1655, 1762, 1809 and 1829 and then standardized in terms of scale and graphic technique. So far, the only study of its kind on the spatial development and urbanism of Warsaw.
