SOLIDARITY - 500 first days. Scene. [Jan Marek Owsinski], drawing [Jacek Fedorowicz]. B. m. [1984]. 4, p. 16. brochure.
Brzeski 907. Slight crease in upper corner of pages, good condition. The script was based on facts, the issues of the main characters are verbatim quotes from their earlier statements. The comic tells the story of the Solidarity Trade Union from the strikes in the Gdansk Shipyard and Lech Walesa's famous jump over the wall, to the night of December 13, 1981, when the telephones fell silent. Under the last frame we read: "End of part one. The sequel continues." The authors hid under the collective pseudonym "Team 4R" (in addition to the above-mentioned artists, it also included the initiators of the project: Wojciech Starzynski and Andrzej Witwicki). One of the many underground editions of the popular comic book. "Katalog druków zwartych drugiego obiegu wydawniczego 1976-1990" notes 13 separate editions differing, as a rule, in imperceptible details. The piece presented here has unprinted inside covers, has no price, and the distance between the dies on pages 4 and 13 is 23 mm.
