Book with beautiful exlibris of Michal Kryspin Pawlikowski, Polishwriter in exile, pre-war editor of the Vilnius "Word". In 1939-1940, Michal K. Pawlikowski collaborated with "Gazeta Codzienna" published by Jozef Mackiewicz. Even before the Soviet army entered Vilnius in June 1940, he managed to get to Sweden, in 1943 he settled in London, and in 1949 he moved to the USA. His most important works are two autobiographical novels Childhood and Youth of Tadeusz Irteński and War and Season.
