Good condition, stamps and owner's signature, initial and final pages with some browning. "On the Field of Glory" - A historical romance, published in Polish in 1906. Its action takes place in the time of King John III Sobieski, a few months before the undertaking of the relief of Vienna and the battle of Vienna. Against the background of the romance of a poor nobleman and an heiress of a great surname, the author showed the daily life and customs of the petty and impoverished nobility in the Republic of Poland at that time.
